2002-03: Ran in seven events for the Bison cross country team ... best event was the Messiah Invitational in which he finished fourth overall and third on the team ... ran in four indoor events for the track team, competing in the mile, 3000, and 5000 meter races ... during the outdoor season, ran in the 1500, 5000, and 10000 meter runs over three events ... won the 10000 meter race last April at the Bison Outdoor Classic with a time of 30:45.83 ... won Patriot League's Athlete of the Week for that performance. 2001-02: Ran in four races with a high finish of seventh on the team and 18th overall at Lock Haven ... ran four meets each indoor and outdoor track, competing in the mile, 3K, and 5K indoors and 5K and 10K outdoors. Personal: Son of Philip and Joan Lounsbury ... won three letters each in cross country and indoor and outdoor track at Melrose High ... honored as Middlesex League cross country Most Valuable Player ... mechanical engineering major. |
